How one nail & beauty salon now easily books clients online
Misha was looking to upgrade her basic website so that it would match her brand, her ambition and most importantly - allow her clients to easily book appointments online. The challenge was to incorporate multiple people into her booking system, each having their own working hours, and a different set of services. Oh, and the website needed to be launched in two languages (English and French)!

With each day that she didn't have an easy online booking system, she knew that she was missing out on generating business. And she didn't want to spend time getting back to clients who contacted her, proposing dates and times that didn't work, and facing last-minute cancellations or double bookings. Here's how we solved that!

How we did it: step by step

Mapping out the exact requirements (functional, visual, etc) so that I could prepare a project proposal. Once that was accepted, we moved to phase 2.

Gathering of materials: this is where the client gathered all the materials (branding assets, website content, photos, translations and links)

Proposal of 3 initial web design concepts and web development. Once the client chose the concept she liked the most, I built out all the pages, including the booking system, as well as search engine optimisation for the keywords we chose together.

Setting up of services under several categories - a total of 63! Each with a different price, duration, buffer time, staff member and availability

Multilingual: once the website was completed, I created a version in the second language (this avoids inefficient web build, if changes are still made on the first language).

Back-end booking system setup, staff setup, working hours and payment options.

Creation of a professional email account and setting up of email confirmations, cancellations, invoices etc.

Website testing and approval by client.

Training on the web management system (Wix) and guidelines on basic SEO.
