Creating a new page on your Wix website is a straightforward process that can be done in just a few clicks. In this blog post, I'll guide you through the steps.
Step 1: Accessing Your Dashboard
Start by logging into your Wix account. From your dashboard, look for the "Edit Site" option in the upper right corner. You'll be taken to your live website in a new browser tab.
Step 2: Navigating to Pages
On the upper left side of your dashboard, you'll find the "Page" dropdown. Click on it, and a list of pages will unfold. Towards the bottom, click on the option to "Manage Pages."
Step 3: Adding a New Page
In the "Manage Pages" section, look for the "Add Page" button at the bottom of the list of your existing pages. Clicking on it opens up a list templates that you can choose from, or start fresh with a blank page.
Step 4: Customizing Your Page
Now that you've added a new page, it's time to add the content. Provide a name for your page, and if you wish to keep it hidden during the editing process, simply click on the three dots next to the page title and select "Hide." This ensures that your work remains under wraps until you're ready to publish it.
Step 5: Publishing and Organizing
When you're happy with your page, click "Show" to make it visible in the menu. Wix allows you to organize how your pages appear in your website navigation. Drag and drop your newly created page under an existing one to create a hierarchy. If you want your new page to be a subpage, simply drag it slightly to the right under an existing page, creating a visually appealing indentation.
Remember to hit "Publish" in the top right corner - your changes are now live on your website.
